SUPPORT OUR PAWS is a 100% non-profit orginazation and 100% of all donations goes towards the success of this project.
Their purpose is to provide much needed equipment and items for our military working dogs, also take care of the handlers by sending items that they need and can use, so they may feel a little closer to home.
Their goal is to take care of as many military working dogs that we can and to continue this mission for as long as we are needed.
This entire project is dedicated to the Memory of “Artus”. A dog that had served 4 years in Vietnam. He had loyally served 6 different handlers including our founder John Meeks. He was Smart, Fearless and Courageous. He would do whatever it took to protect his handler and the total number of lives he had saved is unknown. But Artus was killed doing what he Loved the best, being up front and on point. We would also like to dedicate this project and website to all the Military Working Dogs and their Handlers. Both Past and Present. We also want to give a special THANKS to a great Lady, Jackie McIntyre. She had adopted John’s and Artus’s platoon in Vietnam. She had sent care packages to the 42nd full of items for the dogs and the handlers. She continues to spend much of her time keeping in contact and following up on her “Boys”.
